Cathryn McClellan Kelly

Cathryn McClellan Kelly is the Chair Elect of We Got This TX, a community builder, equity champion and space creator. She is passionate about creating equitable opportunities for all communities, regardless of their background and lived experiences. She is the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas’ Economic Education Specialist, helping bring financial literacy and college and career readiness to all communities. She is also the host of the podcast “Am I Qualified to Do This?”, a podcast about imposter syndrome.
In her spare time she spends her time in her community as a founding member of HERitage Giving Fund, Vice Chair of the GEMS Camp, and as a Co-Director of Power in Action, a new initiative in Dallas, TX formed with the goal to make change in Black communities by helping to remove systemic disparities. She also speaks on the importance of Giving Circle and Black Philanthropy.
Cathryn has a bachelor’s degree from Hendrix College in Conway, AR and a master’s from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Cathryn grew up in Dallas, TX and now lives in Plano with her husband William and their four fur babies.
