We Got This TX is committed to ensuring that Black, Indigenous, and women of color in Texas have the tools that they need to make their voices heard and amplify their priorities in their own words and on their own terms. For that reason, we provide both civic and legislative leadership training directly to these communities. Currently, we are doing this through partnerships with existing non profit organizations who are led by or serving Black, Indigenous, and women of color in Texas. We Got This TX provides these trainings to the clients of 501(c)3 non profits at no cost to either the hosting organization or the clients.
As part of our core belief that systems change is necessary to break down barriers to these women's civic and legislative participation, our organization also provides training to staff at 501(c)3 non profit organizations in the civic or legislative advocacy space to equip these organizations with tools and strategies to foster an inclusive and equitable environment that centers, values, and respects the lived experience of Black, Indigenous, and women of color.
We also equip 501(c)3 non profit organizational staff, unions, and community health center staff with research backed strategies on how to talk to the people they serve about voting.
