Jen Ramos was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She is an activist, organizer, campaign staffer, and communications professional with over a decade of experience in the political arena.

In her tenure, she has worked on over a hundred campaigns. Jen has previously served as the Texas Young Democrats Communications Director and Texas National Committeewoman for the Young Democrats of America. Currently, she is a member of the State Democratic Executive Committee for the Texas Democratic Party, where she is the co-chair of the 2020 Election Review Committee and Vice Chair of Messaging. 

As a communications professional, specializing in intersectional messaging and bilingual outreach, Jen has been quoted by NPR, Time, Washington Post, and Teen Vogue. As an activist and organizer, Jen has fought for election reform, pay equity, and fighting for common-sense gun legislation as a domestic violence survivor. In 2019, she was recognized by the Travis County Democratic Party as a Rising Star. 

She currently resides in Austin, Texas with her dog and cat, Roscoe and Reba. Along with serving on the board for We Got This TX, she is on the board of Men 4 Choice- a 501(c)4- and a Commissioner on the City of Austin Community Technology and Telecommunications Commission.
